The Labour in Vain is a traditional English village pub set in the heart of the community. Often referred to by the locals as the “hub”, this is place they come to escape the toils of every day life and to relax amongst friends. Whether it’s to just chat and enjoy a drink from the selection of beer and ales, play a game of darts or pool, or perhaps to dine in the restaurant and enjoy the varied menu boasting many home cooked dishes.

LadyZone is a ladies only Gym, consisting of a 30 minute circuit workout on air pressured stations, its a relaxed gym designed to make Ladies feel at ease when working out.

The gym (that is based at Waterworld) has agreed that for this season 2008-2009 Stoke City ladies can use their facilities to help the girls enhance in their own personal development to gain strength and knowing they will gain a good and controlled cardiovascular workout that is needed for the game.
Jamie Cartwright (LadyZones founder) has said "the Gym is well equiped with air resistance machines and Stoke City Ladies will find that the results will show in their performance and we wish them all the very best for the season"
