Stoke City Ladies were formed in the summer of 2001 and had a successful first season in the West Midlands league Division One finishing third before gaining promotion to the Premier Division via the play-offs.
Season 2008-2009 saw the Ladies have a run of success once again and after 7 years gaining that all important promotion into the West Midland Combination League.
The forthcoming season (2010 - 2011) sees Steve Swanwick take over as Manager of the Ladies section where he along with his coaching staff continue's their great work left from 2009-2010 season which saw the ladies team finishing in an amazing 6th place in their new league, everybody at the club wishes them all the best for the forthcoming season.
Trials for the ladies section for the forthcoming season will take place at the Stoke Academy Dome on Thursday 1st July, 7pm - 9pm, anyone wishing to book their place and join Stoke City Ladies FC at such an exciting time should confirm their attendance through Manager Steve at: steve-lse@btconnect.com
